Back in August we were delighted to be able to see our pita bread featuring again on local IB3 Television, this time on the ‘Cinc Dies’ programme.
They were discussing sandwiches as one of the most popular options when it comes to packing a picnic to enjoy at the beach in the summer.
Our friend and local Chef Claudio Lemos was invited onto the programme to present some suggestions as an alternative to your typical French bread ‘bocadillos’ and he showed us all three creative ways to fill some pita bread.
He prepared three delicious pita breads live. The first a marinated salmon with romescu yoghurt, the second, buffalo mozzarella with ramallet tomatoes, rocket and sardines and lastly one with roast beef, cherry tomatoes, sweet chilli made with ramallet tomatoes and a touch of Mahones cheese.
